  Also known as The Salt Palace. The worst Chinese food, the worst customer service and the most expensive in Bartlett. The only positives are that they give larger portions and have a drive-thru. If you order take-out or drive-thru, you don't get eating utensils, napkins nor condiments. For example, if you want mustard or duck sauce, they charge $0.20 per packet. Everything is soy sauce flavored. The egg rolls are thick, very tough and usually cooked way too long. The fried rice has so much soy sauce it is dark brown. The food is super salty and it overpowers most of the dishes. It takes me days to detoxify from all the salt.
  
  Try this. Get an order of fried rice from both Hunan Palace and Asian Kitchen then try them side-by-side. Hunan Palace will have more but the Asian Kitchen will taste so much better, has more veggies (onions for example, HP has no onions) and isn't so super salty you won't care about the amount. Asian Kitchen is also MUCH NICER and doesn't charge if you want sweet sauce or mustard sauce, you get eating utensils, free condiments and napkins.
  
  The other reviewer is correct. The Hunan Palace parents have been making their two kids (boy and girl) work since they were very, very young. I remember when they were so small, they had to stand on stools to help customers. They are young teenagers now. I was worried someone would snatch that tiny boy out of the drive-thru window because I rarely saw an adult.
  
  Why do I continue to eat there? It's a 'last resort' issue. Because sometimes I 'wake up' after 8:45 (all the Chinese places close at 9), they have a drive-thru and I can drive there in in about 3 minutes.
  
  Also, we never eat inside because the tables always had sticky stuff on them. Our arms would stick to the tables (we haven't been inside in years). We had to dip napkins in our water glass to wash our arms. (Grandma: Don't put your arms on the table!)
  
  It is now June of 2016. I have been visiting HP since they first opened. I ate Beef Fried Rice there 24 hours ago and I am still regretting all the salt and the lesser quality of flavor. Also, they still refused to give me one packet of mustard sauce unless I forked over $0.20. I got no fork, no napkins. They do give two packets of soy sauce (free) but the food is so salty it is pointless.
